How to Check Windows Installer Version

Some time, when you want to install some software or Windows Updates, it require you to have a certain version of Windows Installer. So, how to you know which version that you’ve installed? It is quite easy! Just go to command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd), and type the following command:-

msiexec /?

You should get the following screen. Here you can see the Windows Installer version that you are using.
